What will a typical respite stay look like?

You’ll arrive at a comfortable, home‑away‑from‑home setting staffed by a small team (1:1‑to‑1:3). The day can be as relaxed or as active as you wish—baking in the kitchen, strolling through town, joining a board‑game night, or simply unwinding in a quiet space.

Which new abilities will participants develop?

While you enjoy a change of scenery, you’ll practice daily‑living skills (i.e. cooking, meal prep), build social confidence through group activities, and reinforce independence by making choices about your schedule and hobbies.

How does this align with my NDIS goals?

Drop-in support helps you to maintain your independence, knowing you can get the assistance you need to live safely in the comfort of your own home.
