What drives you to show up each day and give your best at Valley?

At Valley Industries, I’m driven by the belief that every person deserves respect, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive. I come to work each day because I know the impact we make goes beyond tasks—it’s about creating moments of connection, building confidence, and empowering people to achieve their goals. This can range from assisting people to live independently for as long as possible, going on holidays, assisting with daily-living activities or looking at moving to supported independent living.

What motivates me is seeing progress—no matter how big or small—and knowing that our work can change someone’s day, or even their life. I’m committed to showing up with empathy, patience, and positivity, because the people we support deserve nothing less than my very best.

Why is supporting people with disability and their families important to you?

Supporting people with disabilities and their families is important to me because it’s about more than providing services—it’s about building belonging, trust, and opportunity. I believe everyone has strengths, talents, and dreams, and that they deserve the right support to reach their full potential. I’ve seen how a little patience, encouragement, and genuine care can transform someone’s confidence.

Families often carry both incredible love and significant challenges. Being able to stand alongside them, to share the load, celebrate the wins, and help navigate the tough days, is deeply rewarding. I want the people we support to feel seen, valued, and empowered—and for their families to feel understood and supported.

What’s one thing you’re proud to be part of at Valley?

I’m proud to work for Valley because it’s about supporting people to live life on their own terms for as long as possible. I’m passionate about helping people stay in their own homes, surrounded by the comfort, independence, and familiarity that means so much to them, when a transition into supported living becomes the next step, we walk alongside people and their families during one of life’s biggest changes—the transition from living at home into a supported living environment. I know how important it is to keep a sense of comfort, dignity, and choice during this time, and I’m committed to making sure every person feels safe, respected, and truly at home. I see it as my role to make that change as smooth, respectful, and empowering as possible.

Being part of a team that not only provides practical support but also understands the emotions and challenges of this transition is something I value deeply. At Valley, we don’t just help people move—we help them belong, it’s not just about where someone lives, but how they live—and making sure they feel supported, respected, and in control every step of the way.

Your life, Your home.
