Ian joined the Board in 2026 as part of a ground-breaking program to bring people with intellectual disability to the heart of decision-making in the organisations which serve them. 

Hailing from Nabiac, Ian has experienced open and supported employment, including various roles with Valley Industries since 2006. 

Ian is regarded as a thoughtful and responsible colleague by his peers and brings the considered voice of supported employees into Board deliberations, supported by mentorship from Robyn Jenkins.  Valley is proud to be a pioneer in this endeavour.
