What part of your role gives you a sense that you’re making a difference at Valley?
Training new staff is where I feel I make the biggest impact, I get to be one of the first faces staff interact with when they come to Valley. It’s not just about going through the procedures—it’s about helping staff feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their new role. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch staff grow and become valuable members of the team, knowing I played a part in their journey.
Why is supporting people with disability and their families important to you?
Everyone deserves the chance to participate fully in their community, to be respected for who they are, and to live the life they choose. Disability support is more than care; it’s about connection, empowerment, and building a society where inclusion is the norm, not the exception.
What’s one thing you’re proud to be part of at Valley?
Being part of a team that is deeply committed to improving the lives of people with disability and supporting the local community gives me a strong sense of purpose. It’s not just about the support we provide—it’s about the lives we uplift and the meaningful relationships we build over the years and throughout the region.
